It was quite the morning for The Taunton Girls Swim Team! The Lady Tigers finished in 6th place at Hockomock Championship on Saturday morning, 2/1out of 12 teams.
 
Angelina Lynch finished 2nd in the 50 free and 2nd in the 100 free.
 
Marisa Gay finished 5th in the 200IM with a South Sectional qualifying time and finished in 6th place in the 500 free.
 
Tiffany Ye finished 4th in the 100 back and 9th in the 100 free.
 
The 200 freestyle relay team of Ye, Macey Jorge, Gay and Lynch finished 3rd with a Division 1 State qualifying time.
 
The 400 freestyle relay team of Ye, Jorge, Gay and Lynch placed 4th with a Division State qualifying time.
 
The Lady Tigers will compete in South Sectionals on Saturday Februrary 8th.

​The Taunton Boys Swim Team  concluded their season with an exciting 3rd place finish at Hockomock Championships on Friday 1/31 at Milford High School.
 
The 200 medley relay team of sophomore Brady Callahan, junior Martin Dafov, sophomore Timothy Luc and senior Matthew Heather placed 1st with a Division 1 State qualifying time.  
 
Luc placed 1st in the 50 free with a Division 1 State qualifying time. Luc also placed 1st in the 100 fly with a Division 1 State qualifying time and he broke a Taunton High record.   
 
Callahan finished 2nd in the 200 free with a South Sectional qualifying time and finished 1st in the 100 back with a South Sectional qualifying time.
 
Heather placed 2nd in the 100 free with a South Sectional qualifying time and 2nd in the 100 breast with a South Sectional qualifying time.
 
Dafov finished 5th in the 200 individual medley and 6th in the 100 breast.
 
The 200 Free Relay team of freshman Jonathan Trinh, senior Luca Dumont, senior Gabe Blanchard and junior Garrett Rainey finished 8th.
 
Rainey placed 10th in the 500 free.
 
The 400 free relay team of Callahan, Dafov, Heather and Luc finished 1st with a Division 1 State qualifying time.
 
The Taunton Tigers will compete at South Sectionals on February 9th and Division 1 States on February 16th.
