Field HockeyTaunton, 2 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Lauren Torres and Jillian Pagliuca each scored once as Taunton went on the road and earned a win over Milford. Emma Sheehan had the shutout in net for the Tigers while Alana Tavares, Skylar Rheaume, and Kathryn Robinson all played well for Taunton. Girls VolleyballTaunton, 2 @ Milford, 3 – Final Cross Country (Boys)Taunton, 46 @ King Philip, 15 – Final – King Philip’s Mike Griffin was first overall, taking first in a time of 16:11 in the 3.07 mile course. GolfKing Philip, 184 @ Taunton, 187 – Final – King Philip juniors Ray Mullin, Jack Hastry, Nate Ihley, and Kayla Shuberth all shoot 46 to lead the Warriors to a win against Taunton.
Field HockeyBoys SoccerTaunton, 0 @ Milford, 4 – Final – Milford exploded for three goals in the second half to earn a convincing win over visiting Taunton. Omar Lema scored his second goal in as many games just two minutes in to give the Hawks an early lead. But Milford didn’t add onto it until the second half. Jordan Borges made it 2-0 just minutes into the second half on an assist from Walisson de Oliveira. Borges then returned the favor, setting de Oliveira up to a pair of goals to give the Hawks a 4-0 win. Girls SoccerMilford, 2 @ Taunton, 0 – Final
Boys SoccerTaunton, 3 @ Franklin, 0 – Final – Taunton exploded for three goals in the second half to pick up its second straight win. Alec Nunes scored the game-winner in the 52nd minute, taking a pass from Kyle Aubin and blasting a shot from range to put the Tigers ahead 1-0. Mateusz Hagemajer scored the next two goals, first off an assist from Brett Beaulieu in the 55th minute and then unassisted in the 67th minute. THS coach Taylor Whitters said Liam Crowley and Charlie Fiske also played well for the Tigers while Nolan Melo recorded his second shutout of the season. Girls SoccerFranklin, 4 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – Sydney St. Marie scored a pair of goals, Calen Frongillo had a pair of assists and Hailey Toolin had a goal and an assist for the Panthers. Stella Regan also had a goal and Sabrina Addi had an assist in the win. Field HockeyTaunton, 2 @ Franklin, 2 – Final – Taunton rallied from a 2-0 deficit to grab a point on the road with the draw. Goals from Cassi Ronan (from Regan Paterson) and Amanda Lewandowski (from Stephanie Bell) put the Panthers ahead 2-0 at halftime. But Taunton scored twice in the second, tying the game with 10 minutes to go. Lauren Torres (from Jillian Pagliuca) made it a one goal game and then Alana Tavares tied the game. Emma Sheehan had five saves in net for the Tigers. THS head coach Liz Hathaway praised the work of her defense, including Skylar Rheaume, who made a big defensive save for Taunton. VolleyballTaunton, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – Final GolfTaunton, 181 @ Mansfield, 167 – Final – Sophomore Nathan Morreale shot a team-low round of 41 while three other Hornets shot 42 in a win over Taunton at Norton Country Club. Sophomores Jason See, Ava Haggis and Joseph Gormley rounded out Mansfield’s scoring each with a 42.
Girls SoccerTaunton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 9 – Final – North Attleboro’s Ashlyn Gaulin recorded four points and sister Emma Gaulin had three points as the Rocketeers rolled at home. Ashlyn Gaulin scored three goals and had one assist while Emma Gaulin scored once and had two helpers. Olivia Bishop, Lauren Pezzi, Lexi Sinacola, Tess Collins, and Emma Noreck all scored once for North Attleboro. Field HockeyNorth Attleboro, 0 @ Taunton, 4 – Final – Taunton scored a pair of goals in each half to pick up a win over visiting North Attleboro. Alana Tavares scored both goals in the first half to give the Tigers the lead. Seniors Lauren Torres and Cierra Bartel each scored once in the second half for Taunton while Emma Sheehan made five saves in goal. THS head coach Liz Hathaway said Jillian Pagliuca, Jocelyn Pagliuca, and Kathryn Robinson all played well for the Tigers.

Girls VolleyballNorth Attleboro, 1 @ Taunton, 3 – Final – Taunton rallied after dropping the first set to the win the next three and get a win over the visiting Rocketeers, 3-1 (19-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-16). Jaime Brown had a standout game, dishing out 32 assists along with four aces. Michaela Felici had a team-high 11 kills, Kamila Cuevas added nine kills, seven blocks, and three aces, and Sam Silviera chipped in with seven kills and four blocks. “It was a great team effort all around,” said THS head coach Toby Chaperon. For North Attleboro, Hayley Gaskin had 20 assists and Lauren Antonetti put down 10 kills.
Girls SoccerTaunton, 1 @ Sharon, 2 – Final – Emily Griffin and Maxine Gordon scored the goals for Sharon to help the Eagles pick up their first win of the season. Jessie Taurnoff had an assist for the Eagles. Emily O’Gara scored the Taunton goal, assisted by Khy Camaro. Izzy Anslow made four saves in the loss. GolfFranklin, 174 @ Taunton, 206 – Final – Matt D’Errico shot the low round of the day for Franklin, carding a 39 in the win. Field HockeySharon, 0 @ Taunton, 6 – Final Girls VolleyballSharon, 3 @ Taunton, 1 – Final Boys SoccerGolfTaunton, 160 @ Attleboro, 166 – Final – Taunton’s Spencer Andrews shot a season-low round of 36 to pace the Tigers to a win on the road at Stone-E-Lea over Attleboro.
Boys SoccerTaunton, 0 @ King Philip, 0 – Final – King Philip carried the play and threatened to scored but settled for a scoreless draw with Taunton. Brian McCarthy, Andrew Thompson, and Wes Orzell had strong games defensively while goalie Nick Beltramini came up big on a handful of occasions for the Warriors. Girls SoccerKing Philip, 8 @ Taunton, 2 – Final – Avery Snead and Chloe Layne each scored hat tricks, as KP picked up a big road win to stay atop the Kelley-Rex division. Snead opened the scoring off a Layne assist 20 minutes into the game and then Layne doubled the lead off a Faye Veilleux assist five minutes later. Megan Flanagan scored of an Alex Wapenski assist in the 37th to cut the lead in half (the first goal KP has allowed this season), but the Warriors scored five times after the break. Abby Baker scored off an Ally Stanton assist a minute into the second half, Snead scored from Layne four minutes later, and Layne scored from Snead in the 47th minute. Kiana Fernandes got one back with a goal from Paige Tolan, but then Snead scored unassisted for KP, Layne scored from Makayla Griffin, and Jenny Montville tacked on an unassisted goal in the 76th minute. Grace Pimenta made four saves and Izzy Anslow made nine for the Tigers. Field HockeyTaunton, 0 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – “It was a great team effort from top to bottom,” said KP co-head coach Erin MacDonald. The Warriors scored twice in each half in the win. Nicole Connor (from Kate Lindmark) and Claire Lawlor (from Alli Meehan) put the hosts ahead 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. Connor made it 3-0 on an assist from Meehan, and Meehan capped the scoring (assisted by Lindmark). VolleyballTaunton, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – King Philip used strong serving to knock off visiting Taunton, 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-21). Kat Kmetz (two kills) had 11 aces and a total of 17 service points while Grace Ely (11 kills) added five aces with 10 service points. Nicole Coughlan added five kills and two blocks while Caroline Robertson finished with four kills and two blocks for King Philip. For Taunton, McKenzie Lucie (ace) led the back row with 10 digs and Kamila Cuevas had a strong game at the net. Boys SoccerTaunton, 2 @ Foxboro, 5 – Final VolleyballTaunton, 3 @ Foxboro, 1 – Final – Taunton secured its second win of the season with 3-1 (25-19, 25-20, 19-25, 25-20) win on the road at Foxboro. Jaime Brown paced the offense with 16 assists, five aces and a block while Sam Martin added five kills, an ace and a block for the Tigers. Sam Silveira had a strong all around game with three kills, two blocks, and 11 aces while Mckenzie Lucie solidified the back row with strong serve receive and defensive play (six digs).
