Gymnastics Cheerleading Boys and Girls Basketball Boys and Girls Swim Wrestling Ice Hockey Winter(Indoor) Track Any student-athletes interested in participating in a Winter sports program in 2024-2025 school year, must have his/her parent/guardian register him/her before participating. Registration is through the button below. Prior to clicking below, make sure you have done the following: 1. Provide a copy of a physical exam to the THS Athletic Department. (physicals are good for 13 months and virtual physicals are NOT accepted) 2. Athletes and parents must complete the following online course annually in order to participate. NFHS Concussion Course All tryouts being on Monday December 2nd 2024. Winter registration will open on November 1st and close November 20th, 2024. All winter registrations must be completed before the deadline. THS Athletic Fee is $150.00. This covers 1 sport season or all 3 sport seasons. Easy access to pay online. The Athletic Program is committed to the total physical, emotional, and social development of its participants. The program is an extension of the values and ideals of our school and aims to promote the development of a connected student. Tryouts for the athletic program are open to all students, provided they meet the standards of academic eligibility and physical/health qualifications. Participation in our program is a privilege granted to students who meet and maintain these standards. Students must arrive to school before 8:15 a.m. and may not be dismissed before 11:15 a.m. in order to participate in a team sponsored activity on that day. Physicals must be updated with Athletic department every 13 months. Physicals can expire during the course of an athletic season or school year. If your physical is dated before or on the date below, you need to renew and resubmit it to the athletics department. |

Established in 1849, Taunton High School is a comprehensive 8-12, school-choice secondary school, housed in an educational complex which opened in 1975 and was renovated in 2011. Accredited by NEASC, the school is home to 2700 students, and 430 in the class of 2017. 16:1 Student to Faculty ratio. Offers 17 AP courses and 47 Career Enhancement Courses. Partnerships with Bridgewater State Univ., Bristol Community College, and UMass-Dartmouth enable Dual enrollment programs for students to earn college credit while attending high school. 80% graduated seniors develop post-secondary pursuits (79% 2 or 4 year colleges). Free PSAT and SAT Testing for all students. 55 Extracurricular clubs and 22 Varsity sports to take part in.
